It is also international with the Belgium team.
He started his football career at 8 years of age, was inspired by the style of play of Diego Alves, when he joined a team from his native Ghent, the KVV Drongen.
Then, in 1999, Kevin left for KAA Gent, where he stayed for six years before being transferred to KRC Genk in 2005.
