El valor medio de una función, viene llevada a cabo como : b

fProm = [ 1 / ( b - a ) ] ∫ f(x) dx a

Planteando la función conf(x) : 3

fProm = [ 1 / ( 3 - 0 ) ] ∫ ( x√(x ^ 2 + 16) ) dx 0 3

fProm = ( 1 / 3 )∫ ( x√ (x ^ 2 + 16) ) dx 0

Queremos generar la integral inmediata :

∫ x ^ (r) dx = ( 1 / r + 1 ) x ^ ( r + 1 )

Para generar el diferencial, vamos a multiplicar y dividir la función por2 : 3

fProm = ( 1 / 3 )∫ ( x√x ^ 2 + 16 ) dx (2 / 2) 0 3

fProm = ( 1 / 3 * 2 )∫ (x ^ 2 + 16) ^ (1 / 2) d(x ^ 2 + 16) ⇒ d(x ^ 2 + 16) = 2x 0

Al obtener la integral de forma directa : 3

fProm = ( 1 / 6 ) [ 1 / (1 / 2 + 1) ] ( x ^ 2 + 16 ) ^ (1 / 2 + 1) / 0 3

fProm = ( 1 / 6 ) [ 1 / (3 / 2) ] ( x ^ 2 + 16 ) ^ (3 / 2) / 0 3

fProm = ( 1 / 6 ) ( 2 / 3 ) ( x ^ 2 + 16 ) ^ ( 3 / 2) / 0

fProm = ( 1 / 9 ) { [ (3) ^ 2 + 16 ] ^ (3 / 2) - [ (0) ^ 2 + 16 ] ^ (3 / 2) }

fProm = ( 1 / 9 ) { [ 9 + 16 ] ^ (3 / 2) - √(16) ^ 3 }

fProm = (1 / 9) {√(25) ^ 3 - √(16) ^ 3 }

fProm = (1 / 9) { 125 - 64 }

fProm = (1 / 9)(61)

fProm = 61 / 9⇒ valor medio de f(x)
