Once upon a time there was a couple of farmers who, one day, discovered in one of the nests where chickens raised a solid gold egg.

The couple was observing that the bird produced such a product day after day, obtaining a golden egg every day.

Reflecting on what it was that made the hen in the matter have that ability, he suspected that it had gold inside it.

To check all the gold at once, they killed the chicken and opened it, discovering to their surprise that within the prodigious bird was equal to the others.
