The first spirit, the Ghost of the PAst Christmas shows Scrooge that he was
once a happy young man but money became his
greatest desire.
The Ghost of Present Christmas shows him how others have a poor situation including his nephew.
The Ghost of
Future Christmas shows him the fate that awaits him.
He die alone, he is robbed and provokes a death.
He cannot assume that this is going to be his future so he begs to be given a second chance.
He awakens to find himself in
his bed on Christmas morning, and immediately he begins to make donations to the poor, attends Fred's dinner, and gives Cratchit a raise allowing Tiny Tim to live.
