Simple past :
I had a friend named Danny, he liked to go out with mefor icecream and one day, we went to the mall and we found a surprise there.
The icecream shop was closed, something happended and we didn't know what.
We asked everybody there what happened to the shop and they told us the shop moved to the third floor.
We ran to the stairs and hopefully, they were right.
There was a new icecream shop and it was a lot better than the other one.
We ate the best icecream that day.
