She wanted nothing more than to collapse in bed, dinner didn't even matter at this point.
She rubbed her eyes, turning to the right.
Kate pressed her palm to her temple, almost stumbling forward.
"Hey there random person.
Fancy seeing you here.
"
Kate froze, and looked to the source of the voice.
There, on top of a tree, was a boy of no more 13 years.
She frowned.
She really wasn't in the mood for something like this.
Suddenly, the boy spoke up, before she could move.
He wished her good riddance, and promptly vanished from sight.
Kate blinked.
She was imagining things.
There's no way a boy could just disappear like that.
She adjusted her grip on her purse, and headed straight home, a little more awake than before.
