My life has changed a lot in the past couple of years.

Everything is turning out different than I expected.

And this summer was no exception.

Since I don’t have a “real job”, but I still have a lot of work to do, I can travel… or not.

All I have to do is get my work done before leaving.

Or I can work while travelling.

But that’s not too much fun.

Anyway, at the end of June I finished my book Inglés Coloquial.

In July, I went to Santander with some Spanish friends.

I stayed at my friend’s house in the center of Santander, and had a great time.

For me, the most exciting part was that my friend’s mother made cocido montañés, one of my favorite foods.

We also did some nice walks in the towns around Santander.

I got a bit sunburned at the beach, but otherwise enjoyed the cool weather, the food and the beautiful landscapes.
