We had a few days before classes began.

I had known Jessie's boyfriend, Stefan, before Jessie met him.

He had joined the bascketball team the third week of college and Stefan and I had become friends.

In the end, that long weekend of swimming in the Bahamas had been full of good laughs, good exercise and good friendship.

It had been a really great trip.
