Diane : It was one week.
Melody : How was the weather?
Bob : It was mild and sunny.
It didn't rain once.
Melody : You were lucky, because last cruise Brian and I took, it rained half of the time.
Brian : That's right, I remember that the crew had to scramble to entertain the passengers.
They had to cancel all the outdoor activities.
Melody : They showed movies and had trivia games.
Diane : Oh, I love trivia games!
We had a lot of trivia games on our cruise and Bob and I won twice.
Bob : That's right.
We won free drinks.
Brian : Bob, tell me more about the places you visited.
Bob : Well, we visited this place called Deer Island in Mazatlan.
We rented a catamaran that took us there and spent the afternoon at the beach.
Diane : And in Puerto Vallarta, we were able to rent a water taxi that took us to a beach.
I can't remember the name, but it was beautiful.
We spent the day at a resort and enjoyed the pool and the beach.
Melody : What about Acapulco?
I thought you mentioned that place too.
Bob : Actually, we decided not to get off the ship there.
Brian : Really, why?
What happened?
Diane : The ship's spa had a great deal for the people that stayed on board and since Bob and I had been there already, we decided to stay onboard.
Melody : Did you get a massage?
Diane : Yes, we both got massages and I got a pedicure and a manicure too.
Melody : What about you Bob?
Bob : Only the massage.
Ha, ha, ha.
Brian : I was about to ask about your nails Bob.
Diane : Anyway, we had a wonderful trip.
Melody : It sounds like you two had a great time!
Bob : We sure did and can't wait for the next vacation.
Brian : Where are you going next?
Diane : We're headed to the Florida Keys.
Melody : Sounds like fun!
Wish we could join you.
Bob : Yeah, but we're retired and you two still have to work.
