Respuesta : No hay una característica específica que permita reconocer y distinguir a priori un verbo regular de uno irregular.
En general, los verbos más largos tienden a ser regulares, lo que significa en el idioma inglés que su conjugación para el pasado ─tanto para el past simple como para el past participle─ finalizará en ‘d’ en el caso de que el verbo termine en la letra ‘e’ y en ‘ed’ en el caso de que el verbo termine en cualquier otra letra.
