Marie Curie was born in Varsovia in 1967.
In 1891, she followed her older sister, to study in Paris.
She got married with Pierre Curie and they had two children, Irène y Ève Denise.
She became a famous scientist and chemistry, because she she created a theory of radioactivity and discovered two new elements, radium and polonium.
She won two Nobel Prize : in Chemistry and in Physics with her husband and Henri Becquerel.
She is the only person to win a Nobel Prize in two different sciences.
She died of anemia on 4 July 1934 at the age of 66.
