However, in the 1940's the writings of "El Inca", a half conquerors, half - Incan poet, revived and reconstructed the Festival of the Sun and its traditions. Today, the festival offers colorful exhibitions, live concerts, traditional dances, and activities where actors and singers bring the past alive. This is the second biggest festival in this is the second biggest festival in Latin América, after the Rio Carnival.

Celebramos la fiesta del sol el 24 de junio.

Los conquistadores españoles prohibido este Festival Inca en el siglo XVI.

Sin embargo, en el 1940's los escritos de &Quot ; El Inca&Quot ; , una mitad de los conquistadores, mitad poeta inca, revivió y reconstruida en el Festival del Sol y sus tradiciones.
