But I decided to go out with my dog.

I opened the door and left it ajar for a few seconds.

That evening the wind WAS BLOWING so hard that after walking for about 20 minutes I was soaked through.

I decided to go back.

I called the dog several times to return home, but there was no sign of him.

I looked for him for over half an hour, then I sadly returned home.

But do you know what?

I opened the door and there was my dog who was lying on the carpet in front of the fire!

I talked to him as if he were a baby to scold and asked him "How long have you been here?

" He didn't answer.

He saw the rain and decided to postpone his walk.
