El "ing" es utilizado en el inglés para el presente continuo yhace referencia a las acciones que se estén realizando en el momento, por ejemplo : * She is playing in the garden ; * They are cooking a cake ; * Heis sleeping in my house ; * I'm eating an apple ; * John is cleaning the room ; * They are talking to me right now.
Por otro lado, los verbos que se escriben con "ed" al terminar la oración son los llamados verbos regulares y representan el pasado.
Por ejemplo : * You worked out yesterday * He painted my house the last week ; * You watched tv on my couch ; * Sofíalived in Caracas for a long time ; * They studied english at the institute.
